There are 23 golf courses in the Dominican Republic, some of which are among the most beautiful and the most famous in the world. Most of them do not require a green card certificate and are open all year round. There are several high-quality 18-hole golf courses on the island, which can be reached by car or by hotel pick-up. In the Punta Cana area, Golf de Bávaro is the oldest Golf Course which was established in 1991, the newest golf course is White Sands Golf Club.
