About kiteboardingu:

Kiteboarding (sometimes written “kite surfing”, often called “kitesurfing”) is a sport that evolved from windsurfing. It’s a ride on water on a special board – a kiteboard, using a drag kite. The kite is attached to the “harness” which you wear on you like a weist belt. Kiteboarding is definitely one of the fastest growing sports! In 1998, only a few dozen enthusiasts practised this sport; in 2006, the number of kitesurfers was estimated at 150,000 – 200,000, and the interest in this adrenaline water sport is rising steadily. Thanks to technical innovation and development, this sport is becoming safer and more affordable. After some time different disciplines such as wake-style, wave-riding, freestyle or racing have been separated. Kiteboarding – racing, should also appear in the Olympic Games in the near future.

About windsurfing:

Windsurfing is a relatively young and modern water sport that combines surfing and sailing. For the first time windsurfing appeared in the late 1950s in Pennsylvania, USA. Windsurfing quickly found his fans and spread to all, not just coastal, windy areas. Over time, windsurfing has become not only Olympic sport, but has also created many kinds of disciplines and styles. For example: freeride, wave, freestyle, racing, slalom and more.
