Cayo Levantado is located south of Santa Bárbara de Samaná in the Dominican Republic. The island is also known as Bacardi Island, because Bacardi advertisement has been filmed here. On the island you will find only one luxury hotel – Cayo Levantado beach and several outdoor restaurants. You will also see only beaches with kitschy snow-white sand and palm trees.

The island is unfortunatelly constantly flooded by tourists so you can only dream of the quiet “Bacardi-feeling”. In any case, this island worth a visit even for a short time.
